April joined the team in September 2021 and is our Alumni Coach.
What I do for city Leadership
As an Alumni coach I get to work with over 700 students walking them through their first 2 years out of high school. From helping students register for college classes, to navigating the FAFSA, or just bringing them lunch on their lunch break I get to be their biggest cheerleader!

How I got to Memphis…
In 2012 my husband started law school at the University of Memphis. We had always loved this city, growing up an hour away in Blytheville, AR, but law school really allowed us to become a part of it. After graduation, he came to work for City Leadership as the Recruiting Director and now we will never leave.
But also, the Core 4 played a larger role in our Memphis story than I’d like to admit. Go Grizz!
