Investing with Us

Memphis needs strong, visionary leaders to drive transformative change. Our city faces some tough challenges with economic downturns, crime and safety issues, poverty, educational disparities, etc. But that’s where you come in. By joining City Leadership’s mission, you’re committing to support the development of leaders who will tackle these issues head-on. We know that the more leaders Memphis has, the more it will thrive.

We want to help the good guys in Memphis do more good. That means your investment goes directly back into systems-level solutions for the city. Because of this approach, we touch multiple areas of need in Memphis by recruiting, developing and catalyzing leaders who are addressing more and more issues.

Ways to Give

There are plenty of options! We want to make it as easy as possible, so let's break it down so you can figure out which option will maximize your impact.

Donor Advised Funds

Did you know that in Memphis alone, there are approximately $2 billion currently held in local donor-advised funds? Would you consider activating some of those resources to benefit the city?

You can designate a grant from your DAF to City Leadership. We partner locally with the Christian Community Foundation, Community Foundation of Greater Memphis, and National Christian Foundation. We've also received grants from national DAFs as well. Contact your advisor today to designate a financial grant to City Leadership.

Stock Gifts

Whether directly from your brokerage account or through our account, donating appreciated stock is one of the easiest ways to give to City Leadership. For many, stock gifts are a way to give more money than cash donations, with the added benefit of potentially reducing future capital gains.

Recurring Cash Donations

You subscribe to many services monthly. How about investing monthly in generosity? You can create a monthly donation at any amount, and it's as easy as 1-2-3. Just make sure you've clicked “Monthly” on our donation page. Having predictable monthly income allows us to know what resources we have to best serve Memphis.

One-time Donations

Many in our city may be moved to give occasionally or a few times a year. You can use the same City Leadership donation page to make your special gifts throughout the year. Every bit helps! On our donation page, you can designate a one-time donation simply by clicking that button.
