You asked. The merch store is open.
The stories we choose to tell about Memphis help write the story of Memphis. When we talk about what we love here, out loud and on purpose, the city grows.
That's been on my mind a lot lately. And it's the idea behind something some of the merch we've been working on.
You've been asking for it. So we're doing it.
The Choose901 online merch store is open!
The Post Card Tee
A while back, I found a stack of old postcards on eBay. Real ones, from the '40s and '50s. Memphis postcards.
So I bought them.
They're from people writing home about Memphis. About the grand time they were having. About how great this city is.
Seventy-some years ago, somebody picked up a pen and told the people back home how much they loved this place. Turns out, people have been telling good stories about Memphis for a long time.
So I turned those postcards into a shirt and your response has been awesome.
We have a few of them left, so snag one before they are gone.
And be on the look out for some of your positive social posts from today to be a t-shirt 70 years from now.
The Lightning Bolt Hat Is Back
Add some electric style to your look with the 901 Lightning Bolt Trucker Hat. Featuring a bold lightning bolt design and the iconic 901 logo, this hat will electrify any outfit. Perfect for showing your love for 901 and standing out from the crowd.
Memphis Tenn Tee: New Colorways
Simple. Bold. Comfortable.
That's the Memphis Tenn shirt. And now it comes in new colorways.
Why It Matters
Every merch purchase from Choose901 fuels the mission. It's how we invest back into the city.
When you pick up a shirt or a hat, you're backing work that pours directly into Memphis. Supporting teachers. Connecting volunteers. Cheering on students. Growing future leaders.
But it's more than that.
When you wear the 901, you're telling a story about this city. You're saying you love it here. You're saying you're proud of it.
Every time somebody sees it on you at the grocery store, at a Grizzlies game, or on a flight out of MEM, that's a postcard too.
So thank you. I'm really grateful for every one of you who helps tell the story of Memphis.
Don't Wait
The store is only open for about a week. After that, your next shot is Crafts & Drafts here at Crosstown in November.
Appreciate y'all.
Keep choosing the 901.
P.S. Your postcard assignment: We don't really send postcards anymore. But we do post. So take a picture of something you love about Memphis. Tie some words to it. Tag us at @choose901. Maybe someday somebody will print it off and make a T-shirt out of it.
