What I do for city Leadership
As a Talent Coordinator at City Leadership, I work to serve the alumni who make up the Choose901 alumni program. My day-to-day involves connecting with different people such as alums and community partners in hopes of bridging the gap between the two.
Whether it’s providing talent services, building relationships, or driving initiatives that uplift our community, I’m dedicated to making sure that every effort contributes to the continuous progression and vibrancy of Memphis.
How I got to Memphis…
I was born and raised right in the “M”. I am a North Memphis baby through and through. I took some time away from the city during my undergraduate career where I earned my bachelors from Furman University in Greenville, SC.
My path to City Leadership has been shaped by my love for our city’s unique culture and my desire to pour into my hometown in the same ways that it poured into me. After years of serving as an educator in different areas of the city, I knew that I wanted to continue the work of making a lasting impact on Memphis.

MEET Brie
Outside of work, I’m a super dog mom to my sweet baby boy, Prince. I am also a travel girlie! Although I love to be a tourist in our own city, I also love to explore the world around us.
As a music enthusiast and avid foodie, I think it’s easy to see the true Memphian in me. Whether it’s enjoying a stroll along the Bearwater Greenline (any of the River Parks, really) or spending time with family and friends, I make it a point to soak in all that Memphis has to offer.
I’m passionate about connecting with new people and hearing the stories that are so effortlessly weaved together to give us shared life. You can often find me exploring new spots, championing for the youth, or simply enjoying the city’s vibrant energy.
