What I do for city Leadership
As Operations Manager here at City Leadership, I work throughout the office and with our various campaigns to make things run smoothly. Part of my role includes all things merch and events for Choose901 to help bring our passion for Memphis to the people we serve.
CONNECT WITH ME
How I got to Memphis…
My family moved just over the bridge to Marion, Arkansas when I was 8 years old, and I’ve called the Mid-South my home ever since.
Growing up in the areas surrounding Memphis, you find yourself in the 901 almost as much as you do your own town. From weekend shopping trips, field trips to the zoo, and of course numerous food adventures, learning the true spirit of Memphis came naturally.
After graduating high school, I had decided I wanted to get out of the area and go explore life elsewhere. Long story short, just one semester later I was missing the family, community, and spirit of Memphis. By the spring semester, I was proud to be a Tiger at the University of Memphis, but more importantly to be home.
Why I Choose901
I call Memphis my hometown to anyone who asks, but deciding to stay here and start my career went far beyond just hometown loyalty and family.
Memphis is a unique place, and you can feel it almost everywhere. From the art and music to food and culture, I’ve never found a place quite as special as the 901. More importantly, the community that exists in the city is unlike any other you will find in a city of our size.
It is because of these special connections and experiences that I’ve found in the 901 that has led me to stay and driven me to invest in the future of Memphis.
ALL ABOUT ME
Living in Memphis, I’m able to enjoy some of my favorite things! You’ll find me around town enjoying all the good food and drink this city has to offer, or going to concerts at the Forum, seeing a show at the Orpheum Theatre, or just spending time with my friends and family.
