ZOE PATRICK — Executive coordinator

Zoe Patrick

Zoe joined the City Leadership team in October 2024 and is our Executive Coordinator

What I do for city Leadership

As City Leadership’s Executive Coordinator, I ensure that the executive team is operating smoothly and efficiently by helping organize schedules, facilitate communication, and manage upcoming projects.

I also work closely with the Executive Director, John Carroll, to guarantee that he is equipped with the resources he needs to lead the City Leadership team in the right direction. I do this by overseeing his email communications and meetings and helping him transform ideas to projects.

CONNECT WITH ME

How I got to Memphis…

I was born and raised in Memphis, specifically in Shelby Forest, just north of Downtown. Having spent my entire life here, I graduated from Evangelical Christian School as part of the class of 2018. After that, I moved to Fayetteville, AR, where I attended the University of Arkansas and earned bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Marketing, along with a master’s degree in Public Administration and Nonprofit Studies (MPA).

While in Northwest Arkansas, I spent a lot of time investing in the local community and I knew that I wanted to pursue a career that would help breathe life into up-and-coming cities, but I just wasn’t sure where I wanted to be. What I didn’t know at the time was that the answer was right in front of me: Home.

Why I Choose901

The love I have for my city is what brought me back after so many years away and it is what has brought me to City Leadership, an organization led by people who love this city as much as I do.

I am honored to be a part of an organization that is working to make Memphis a better place to live, work, and visit.

More about ZOE

Zoe’s dog Waylon

When I’m not at the office, you can find me exploring and getting reacquainted with the city that has changed so much during my years in Arkansas. My favorite pastimes include trying new restaurants, traveling, hiking in Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park, playing with my dog Waylon, and spending time with my friends. Additionally, I’m a regular at yoga classes and enjoy running and participating in local races, such as the St. Jude Memphis Half-Marathon
