Meet Denise!

2023 City Leadership Spring Resident.

Hello! My name is Denise Parnell and I am excited to be a Resident at City Leadership. I will primarily be working with the marketing team on everything from email marketing to paid social efforts.

While I’m a newbie to the team, I was born and raised in Memphis and am no stranger to the city. I am a graduate of Overton High School and The University of Memphis. GO TIGERS!

You might have seen me around town doing marketing and community engagement work for a few nonprofit organizations, creating content, or trying out the latest addition to seasonal coffee menus. Additionally, I manage social media for local businesses and a few brands not fortunate enough to call Memphis home.

When I’m not working, I love to attend concerts, visit museums, go on weekend getaways, and attempt to make brunch a professional sport.
