I told y’all August was going to be busy—and now it’s officially on!
We’ve got two events coming up that are bigger than just a party. These are about celebrating the people and culture that make Memphis who we are.

I know from experience what it’s like getting a household of kids ready to go back to school. There are new schedules, new routines, new clothes, new supplies, new classes, and new expectations. And if you’ve got more than one child, it’s even more!
If it’s that challenging for parents, imagine what it’s like for teachers. They have to set up their classrooms, gather supplies (often out of pocket!), learn anywhere from 30 to 150 new names, plan curriculum, establish classroom expectations, and so much more.
These are the heroes working every single day with the next generation of Memphis.
So after a hectic first week back, they definitely deserve a night to kick back and relax with a drink—and that’s where you come in.
